ERGB Transcription Factor

[Similar to other ETS transcription factors, ERGB Transcription Factor (FLI1) regulates expression of the TGF-beta type II receptor gene. FLI1 contains one PNT domain, can form homodimers or heterodimers with ETV6/TEL1, and recognizes the sequence C[CA]GGAAGT. Two isoforms may be produced by alternative splicing. A form of Ewing's sarcoma is characterized by the chromosomal translocation t(11;22)(q24;q12), which involves FLI1 and EWS. (NCI) ( NCI )]
