[Neoplasms that occur within the spinal canal in the space between the spinal cord and the dura mater. The majority of neoplasms in this location are meningiomas or neurofibromas, although neurofibromas, sarcomas, dermoid tumors, ganglioneuromas, hemangiopericytomas, paragangliomas, osteochondromas, lipomas and other neoplasms may also occur in this location.
